[7:05 pm] Meeting called to order. Michael Tessler presiding.
[7:08 pm] The roll was called.
Present (5): Damien Burke, Brandy Chagolla, Laura Graves, Frankie Holt, and Michael Tessler
Absent (2): Guy Langman and Theodore Wachtel

[7:09 pm] Michael Tessler gave a report from the chair.
[7:12 pm] Theodore Wachtel arrived at the meeting
[7:20 pm] Brandy Chagolla introduced herself to the committee.
[7:22 pm] Michael Tessler announced an upcoming cleanup event on May 21.
[7:30 pm] On agenda item E, a motion was made to "Support CF 19-1235 to establish a Public Bank."
[7:31 pm] The assembly voted on a motion to: "Recommends that the HSDNC support CF 19-1235 to establish a public bank."
Ayes (6): Damien Burke, Brandy Chagolla, Laura Graves, Frankie Holt, Michael Tessler, and Theodore Wachtel
Noes (0): none
The motion passed.

[7:54 pm] On agenda item G, Michael Tessler made a motion to "Recommend that the HSDNC Board change the bylaws to change the name of the Public Safety Committee to the Justice, Equity, Safety, and Service Committee."
[7:56 pm] The assembly voted on a motion to: "Recommend that the HSDNC Board change the bylaws to change the name of the Public Safety Committee to the Justice, Equity, Safety, and Service Committee."
