[7:06 pm] Discussion of the Consideration and potential approval of a Neighborhood Purpose Grant request of $5,000 from the Elevate Culture Corporation for the West Adams Block Party 5 on Sunday, September 6, 2026. We only have 3200 - NPG form is uploaded and sent to the board. Alfred has come to meetings in the past and Rick has come to the last meeting

[7:14 pm] West Adams NC is not a sponsor or a vendor - but are helping allocate $$ via the NPG and we will have our regular booth activity as we do at all community events

[7:37 pm] We all need to re-take our financial training, someone will come on August 17th to talk about it and empower LA can help support 
[7:38 pm] For funding training it on youtube, and still haven't taken down the new training on cornerstone. The funding training is on youtube and a google doc or google survey where you fill fill it out and it will give you your score and then submit the score 
[7:39 pm] for elections we need to make some decisions - election chair and election committee 
[7:41 pm] Meeting adjourned.

The neighborhood council counts abstentions as yes votes.
