Recess this month, coming back in August starting on the 1st. Last time to let them know yournstance AB1883 2025-2026 - Prohibit surveillance in the workplace , no AI cameras AB 946 - Environment and more green spaces to balance out CO2 emissions - 30% rule applied to cities so that green spaces can be funded in cities. "30 by 30" Email for Ethan on the website . Disaster prep plan w/ Baldwin Hills and did a FIFA event, Back To School event at the Crenshaw YMCA coming up. Jonathan Mitchell - Dep for CD10 - will connect on w/ Ethan working together to clear the Caltrans area at Geneese and Adams. Working with LAPD to clear the tunnel on Sycamore - connects a couple NCs to working on that with both NCs. Reports of lights that are out on Jefferson and Side Streets - also working on lights on Wellington and Virginia Road. Will work to push these. Vegetation is getting cut in the area, weed abatement on Adams and Geneese and other areas - Rampaw and Vineyard on Jefferson. Please let Jonathan know if something needs to get taken care of. Sidewalk broken for 15 years - Julio sent SR to Jonathan to look at a request from March - this is dependent on lawsuits and ADA compliance Connye - Fireworks keep going off what can we do? Call the non emergency line for this. Police commission meetings - Jonathan will re send this to us. Residents - Some areas have glass on the sidewalks - what is the process for getting this cleaned up - 6 weeks and farmhouse has garbage cans - if just general sidewalk send Jonathan a picture and he can have some come out - for sale then let Jonathan Know. Vegetation - in front of the church - and they trim them every 7 years and this one was over trimmed and it does take away the shade but this is expected. QJ - clarification set up a drive so that we can collect everything Ernesto - Emailed about progress on LADWP for the beautification of the parking lot at Adams and Fairfax - Tree Planting Day for this location - Jonathan will let us know when we can do a walk around for this area. Approval of FY2026-2027 WANC Administrative Packet, to enable spending of funds for this fiscal year QJ goes over the reason for the packet - $25k approved, and will learn about rollover later. To get started we let people who the financial officers are what they do. Starting budget is as follows -> 1. General Operating - $21,800 - $14.2k for office/ops storage , $6.6k for outreach, $1k for elections 2. NPG's - 3,200 Details were reviewed on each line item and given by QJ Edit

West Adams Block Party - next meeting on August 17th scheduled for September 6th. Delicious Pizza owners have done block parties and running another 2017 - 2019, 2023 - each even brings out 5k-7.5k residents in a free atmosphere - on labor day. Many non profits and great publicity and great for west adams spotlight - Keith from Alta and Mizlala to help bring everyone together for food and music festival - Closing from Dunsmir to Hauser Edit

[7:26 pm] - August 22nd - The West Adams Block Party - Block Club Pass something for 17th and pass something for the Block party - Can we pass something for now? End of the first week of August - Put in for a meeting, Virtual Meeting to Discuss and approve an NPG up to 3200 and outreach budget. Call a meeting to discuss NPG and summer expenses for next Monday, where we have a proposal and discuss a specifics. Art world, signs murals, airbrushing, kids putting hands on. Edit
