- Absent (1): Blake Lynch

[6:40 pm] Presentation from Charcoal, a new restaurant to be located at 3321 La Cienega 90016 - (Cumulus) looking to have a full line alcohol sales. - Type 44 - The bar would be 20ft Chef reports that it would be a replica in Charcoal Venice. - 2 Means of egress from drive isle from the cumulus property - Homeowner didn't receive approval of notice - Roughly $70 per plate. - Outreach with chefs to end hunger then given to LA Mission. Chef is open to being involved with more local outreach activities. - If local school has hospitality program he's open to participating and already partners with CCAP program Timeline - December 2023 - MPA applications filed January 2024 - Sent Initial Outreach to CD10, NC & LAPD February 1, 2024 - Met with CD10 staff February 8 - NCPLUC Meeting Final hearing is not scheduled but expect to be in March Purposed opening look at late 2024 /early 2025 *awaiting LAPD conversation Edit
[7:06 pm] Committee to recommend to be added to feb Agenda Committee recommends that they do outreach to hear the communities thoughts on Chef is not available to attend monthly meeting but will send representation. Edit
[7:12 pm] Steven would like to ensure the committee is able to read the letters of determination to ensure codes are being followed. Edit
[7:14 pm] Stakeholder from Adams and Corcoran. Too many restaurant patrons are parking in the neighborhood but also creating congestion. Steven suggests we look into Public ordinance parking signage. He will follow up with Hakeem in the City Planing office. - Committee to investigate why Adams/ Corcoran doesn’t qualify for Permit 68 applicable Edit
[7:21 pm] Brian Directives from Mayor’s Executive Order and State are making R1 Zoning is become obsolete. Offers original owner opportunity to build with out NC approval. Edit
[7:25 pm] We need Update on Chesapeake and Potomac. Owners are looking to tear down the whole block Edit
[7:25 pm] Steven presented recap of Dorsey HS Gentrification Event. - Send a follow up to the patrons to invite them to Land Use Meetings - Provide education on TCL Zone Variances - Do the same event hosted at Rancho Park on a Monday in March Edit
